It’ll be the 17th studio album for Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band.
Springsteen is close to announcing the latest album and, according to Rolling Stone, it will be accompanied with a U.S tour. There will be some interesting things in the mix. With the passing of Clarence Clemons (on sax) to the possibility of Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain playing on the album, you’ve got to wonder whether this will be classic Springsteen or something a little…different.
I’ll go ahead and say this is one of my personal, most anticipated albums of 2012.

The first single dropped this morning. Like you guessed, it definitely is different… the lyrics are really straight-ahead and angry. It seems that besides the death of Clarence OWS is pretty heavy on his mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3Bz0d2xm7U
heard you guys talk about the new single on my way to work–i just listened to it, i don’t really like the direction he’s going with this new album…hopefully this is an anomaly. thanks for the heads up though
