CBS Greenlights “Smells Like School Spirit” Sitcom

CBS just greenlighted a sitcom comedy titled “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Which sounds awesome, maybe a sitcom based off of 90s Seattle Alternative and Grunge? Not quite. As CBS described it:

“The multicamera comedy revolves around an 18-year-old budding entrepreneur who forgoes Harvard and instead opts to launch a multibillion-dollar Internet company from his garage with the assistance of his sister, best friend and his 1990s indie-rock parents.”

I’m a little hesitant to support this kind of usage of the name, but I’m sure I’ll probably be tuning in anyways.

About Joe Winner

(Music Director) When I’m not trying to major in math, you can normally find me doing things like listening to music, watching movies, reading and not giving a damn about an Oxford comma. I, generally, am a big fan of most alternative music. Although, I secretly have a soft spot in my heart for classic rock bands like The Who.
