I know, at least for me, the words “Interactive Video” always make me cringe. It’s generally some artist trying to utilize some gimmick with imperfect technology that will probably take away from me simply enjoying a music video, which is a tad bit on the annoying side of things. All of that changed today, however, when I tried out Arcade Fire’s interactive visuals for their new single “Reflektor”. It utilizes your computer’s webcam and your smartphone and is legitimately one of the more fun things I’ve done on the internet in a long while. Check it out here and check out the behind the scenes video below!
