If you’re in the Chicago-land area and looking for something to do on this fine Wednesday afternoon, look no further! That is, if you’re willing to drop 100 bucks and support Obama’s 2012 campaign. Today starting at 3:00 pm, Barack will be in attendance for the fundraiser at the UIC Forum on Halstead and Roosevelt. Seeing that this is the first major event of the year being held to raise what Obama hopes to reach a total of $750 million for the campaign, Obama isn’t only counting on his own name to fill the Forum. Janelle Monae and her band will be playing and CSI; NY’‘s Hill Harper will be in attendance. Needless to say, it’s going to be a happening time in the Windy City today.
