Yourself and the Air are the second band we here at WPGU are proud to unveil for WPGU’s Laughing Prairie Dog Festival right here in CU, and we’re pretty psyched about it.
Yourself and The Air is current title for the brother-hood of 5 friends whom set their sights on a musical quest. The union is made of of Erick Crosby, James David, Nicholas David, Jeff Papendorf, and Drew Rasmussen.
The band hails from Chicago and has toured with the likes of Chairlift, Portugal. the Man, El Perro Del Mar and Peter Bjorn and John. They’re a definite must-see at this years festival because of their unique blend of indie rock and ambient undertones that make them one of the best up-and-coming bands from the Midwest. The band received positive response from their EP from 2008, Friend of all Breeds.
