If a week ever passes without something utterly ridiculous happening in punk rock, I suggest you prepare for the Apocalypse. No need to get your “666” tattoo yet: witness Punk Farm – the movie. The original book, by Jarrett J. Krosoczka, tells the story of farmyard animals who form a band with the ambition to play that great music festival – Livestock. Producers are currently working on a CGI-heavy adaptation of the original and some songs from the film can be heard on Myspace. “We … loved the idea of this group of farm animals with the rebellious spirit of punk rock,” said one of the producers.
