2. Where did you get your band name?
My mom bought me a cheesy quartz clock from “things remembered” in the mall for my birthday inscribed “Ben- Number One Son” I thought it was great. I am also the 1st born child, so it kindda takes on a double meaning.
3. When did you start performing together?
Marty and I have performed in various bands for about 7 years. We both moved down here from Chicago in December of 2007 to persue different personal goals.
He is starting an organic farm and I am going to school in August for music ed. We played under the name of “The Number One Sons” for about 2 years in Chicago as a 3 piece with a very talented guy named Jason Mortensen on bass.
4. Who is your greatest musical influence?
I would have to say my family for not encouraging me, and my ex-girlfriend.

6. What is your favorite place to perform?
Recently, we opened for Shooter Jennings at The Canopy Club, it was really cool. We actually had roadies! FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE!

98 dodge coversion van, complete with tv and VCR –I watched “singles” the other day in my van. Pathetic? yes indeed..

Eddie Izzard rules. Tim and Eric are also great.

To the Burpee Museum to see “T-REX”!!!

Radiohead—everytime–they blow me away.

I ride my bike to work everyday-seriously.. and recycle my tiolet paper. Not seriously.

Hawaii-Napali coast scuba diving.

Yes. Just because we do not hear it, doesn’t mean it does not exist.

Sea turtle

When I was scuba diving last year, I had a chance to swim with some amongst the coral. It was a very exilerating experience.

The big bang!

Mrs pac-man, because she has “pac-boobs”

Leonardo- I cut meat as a job, so I pretend to be Leonardo with a sword on occassion…not really

34. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done in the name of music?
I used to have a bad habit of smashing my guitar on stage on occasion.
I miss those guitars now. But that was back when I was full of piss and vinegar.
35. Any advice for the public at large?
I really hate the stupid pro gun signs on the highway. It makes everyone around here look like hillbillies, even though they are not. NO FAIR!
36. If you could be one of the Flavor of Love girls, who would you be?
I dunno what that means, but my answer is POSH spice.

I lost 10 pounds on the “Jared subway diet.”

Right now it is a tune called “Stalker Maria” an original new song we play.

Boxer-breifs actually..the best of both worlds.

Xerox machine- you can Xerox your butt, and The word Xerx has two X’s in it. Pretty rare, outside of porn.

I wear leather black boots 95% of the time. My mom bought them for me a few years back. I am too lazy to look at the brand name right now.
