Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press – 1/19
Rod Tuffcurls is the best cover band you’ll ever see. Originally from Chicago, this band plays for clubs, weddings festivals — they’ve done a show for every type of audience. They cover artists like Taylor Swift, Elton John and the Beatles, but also pride themselves on movies and show covers like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Les Miserables!

Liquid Stranger – 2/24
Liquid Stranger “has mastered his ability to slip in and out of genres honing his own personal style” — if that in itself isn’t rad to you, you need to see a doctor! Liquid Stranger is not just a dubstep artist; the Swedish-born musician has delved in big band jazz, reggae, drum and bass and many others.
Tritonal – 2/28
Tritonal is the project of Chad Cisneros and David Reed, both hailing from Austin, Texas. The DJ and production duo have collaborated with Cash Cash, Sj, and most notably the Chainsmokers on the 2015 hit “Until You Were Gone.” And only 11 days into 2019, Tritonal has already released another sick single!
Boogie T.rio – 3/14
Based out of New Orleans, Boogie T is a bass player and producer specializing dubstep, riddim and trap. In 2018, Boogie T joined forces with Frank “Animal Drums” Castro on drums, obviously, and fellow New Orlean Andriu Yanovski on keyboards, and Boogie T himself on vocals, guitar and keys. Together, they dropped their debut EP “Three For All” in June 2018.
Twiddle – 4/25
Beginning in 2005 on their first tour, Twiddle has since then solidified themselves as a veteran in jamming out at concerts, from Bonnaroo to Red Rocks. The best part about the Vermont-based band remains their vast improvisation skills during live performances. This is definitely not a show to miss!
Twin Peaks with Post Animal – 5/8
Chicago-based indie rock band Twin Peaks is coming to Champaign during finals week, so mark your calendars! Formed in 2010, the group has since released four studio albums filled with that satisfying garage rock sound.
Also hailing from Chicago, Post Animal ‘s debut studio album, “When I Think of You in a Castle,” received great reception from fans and critics alike. Post animal offers a distinct psychedelic sound, with the Chicago Tribune describing them as “if Tame Impala listened to a lot of Black Sabbath and were signed to Elephant 6.”
Bear Grillz – 5/2
Colorado-based EDM producer Bear Grillz is the latest addition to the concert series! Having previously collaborated with other artists like Getter and Excision, Bear Grillz has definitely made a name for himself in the game. Be sure to cop some tickets and get ready to mosh at Canopy!
