Sangamon is a Native American term that is relatively unique to our Central Illinois region, we thought it to be a cool way to identify ourselves with our area. Reference Wikipedia for more…
3. When did you start performing together?
Our first show was May 9th, 2007…so just over a year.
4. Who is your greatest musical influence?
Tough question…The Beatles would be the greatest, but Led Zep has better stories and Bowie has Ziggy Stardust.
5. Describe your sound in 3 words or less.
Um…Melodic, Dynamite, Rock.
6. Do you have any pre-show rituals or superstitions?
The only consistent ritual is asking the soundguy for more reverb on Shay’s vocals.
7. What is your favorite place to perform?
That’s tough, Cowboy Monkey or Canopy Club…depends on the specials.

June 5th at Cowboy Monkey (Free), then June 21st at Mike ‘n Molly’s w/ Curb Service.

Probably the Beatles, just to hear if the screaming was really that loud…or Elvis.

Living in downtown Champaign, we have about forty squirrels and a few opossums and raccoons living in the garage.
