Bus Schedules:
The best bet to get to the downtown Champaign venues is to take the 50 Green West on a Saturday night. It runs every 30 minutes at 6:59 p.m., 7:29 p.m., and so on. It leaves from the Union engineering stop and arrives at the Illini Terminal in about eight minutes. From there, you can walk to any downtown locations. In order to not leave you stranded and alone in downtown, the 50 Green East leaves the terminal every 30 minutes at 6:51 p.m., 7:21 p.m., and so on, and arrives back at the Union in eight minutes. A good Web site to check for bus routes and schedules is cumtd.com or google.com maps.

Taxi:
Another swell way to get around is by taxi cab. Here are some of the local cab numbers, and I would recommend asking ahead of time if the cabs are cash only. We wouldn’t want you stuck in that situation, now would we?
Orange Taxi: (217) 363-1500

CU Taxi: (217) 359-8634

Campus Taxi: (217)359-5541

Yellow Checker Cab: (217)355-3553

Safe Rides is around, too: (217)265-7433

Remember to tip your cabbies, buckle up, and don’t drink and drive. Enjoy the music.
