LPD Festival Artist: Santah

Even though Santah is fairly used to the Canopy Club and WPGU, we’re still very excited to have them as one of our featured artists for this year’s inagural Laughing Prairie Dog Festival. As the weather gets colder this indie-rock five piece is perfect to listen to while wearing a plaid scarf and a buttoned-up cardigan.
Stan, Mack, Tommy, Otto, and Steve write songs with lush melodies, full guitars, and thoughtful lyrics. Santah’s songs are fun and light—the kind that could be from any decade or part of the county. They were also a featured band on the bill for this year’s Pygmalion Music Festival, and are scheduled to play some shows in Chicago later in December. The guys are getting ready to go back to the studio and record a new album soon too, so be on the look out for that to drop.
Just in time for Christmas (aka go out and buy this), you can buy Santah’s My Bones EP on iTunes or hear them at www.myspace.com/santamusic. Learn the words and sing along at WPGU’s Laughing Prairie Dog Fest this year. You might hear some Christmas carols.

Don’t forget to grab your tickets at Canopyclub.com or at Exile on Main and Family Pride for only $10!
