Weekly Video Round-up

Here are some of the best music videos that were released this week in order of my ridiculous to least-

Gauntlet Hair- Keep Time

Here are up and coming, Denver via Chicago, extremely hard to classify, Gauntlet Hair. Listen to the whole album and this video will make perfect sense. Watching the video as your first experience of Gauntlet Hair may be too much. Either way, these guys are awesome. Check out their video below and then go buy their album. It’s worth it.

Real Estate- It’s Real

A video for us dog lovers! Real Estate released their second album last month and here is a the first video off that album. The video is ridiculously awesome. So many dogs and dog related items! The song is pretty great too. (Don’t want to alienate all those cat lovers out there- here is a treat)

Cass McCombs- The Same Thing

McCombs has another album coming out next week. That’s two in one year. Woah. Someone’s been busy. The video is interesting. It seems like a bunch of random video clips spliced together, but it comes out rather cool.

Girls– Just a bunch of unreleased stuff

Girls released one of the better albums of the year in September. Apparently last year Christopher Owens played a special show at the opening of a gallery in San Francisco and played a bunch of unreleased songs. The videos are just now making it on to the internet and many of them did not make the cut for the new album. Christopher Owens does have much to say, so it is not too surprising he has all of these songs written. They are all him with an acoustic guitar, but great for any Girls fan. Also, if you have a twitter be sure to follow him. He is one of the better musician twitter users. Here are a select few of the video, but all of them are here

Key to my Heart

End of the World

Childish Gambino- Bonfire – Anais Binkowski

Childish Gambino just released his newest video for bone-crushing single Bonfire — third track on Gambino’s much anticipated Camp album, scheduled to drop tomorrow (Nov. 5)!

So trick, or treat? Both! The video is a surrealist, spooky romp with an Shyamalan twist ending to keep you on your toes. Dark, creepy forest scenes with enough party in the beat for a good time make this the perfect video for Halloween.
