Junkyard Samurai – 9/4
A collab between rapper ProbCause and hip-hop duo The Palmer Squares, Junkyard Samurai began in 2012 in Chicago. Their newest single “Remask,” is now available for streaming.
Chris Lake – 9/19
Chris Lake is an electronic music producer and DJ hailing from Britain who has several Billboard chart-toppers, a platinum record, and a Grammy nomination. His release of “Operation ft. Dances with White Girls” caught the attention of almost every house DJ and became a Holy Ship! anthem. His innovation and willingness to push boundaries is what sets him apart and keeps his music original.
Dirt Monkey – 10/5
Dirt Monkey, also known as Patrick Megeath, is a pioneer in the Denver dubstep community. His uplifting music has caught the attention of many artists such as Boogie T, Illenium, DMVU, and more. His performances have spanned across America and parts of other countries. Dirt Monkey hopes to become a global name in the dubstep community.
Borgore – 10/11
Borgore is an Israeli EDM producer, DJ, singer-songwriter, rapper, and founder of the label Buygore Records. His self-described “gorestep” incorporates triple drum patterns with heavy metal influences. One of his most famous singles, “Decisions,” was released in 2012 with Miley Cyrus backing the vocals.
Mungion – 10/19
As a self-described “funky progressive rock jam band,” Mungion formed in the Spring of 2015. This Chicago quartet is known for its quirky nature and its debut album, “Scary Blankets,” released in 2016.
Sun-Riser – 10/20
A result of seven years of compilation and contemplation between lead singers Kevin Conroy and Aaron Baer, Sun-Riser is a Chicago based alt-rock band. In 2019, the band released their first single, “Fightman Floater” and is playing at venues all throughout Chicago. Coming up on the 20th is their Champaign-Urbana debut at the Canopy Club.

Cherub – 10/23
An electro-indie duo from Nashville, Cherub is no stranger to Urbana, stopping here almost every tour. Cherub is most known for their hit single “Doses and Mimosas” and has most recently released four singles in 2018: “All In,” “Dancing Shoes,” “Body Language,” and “Want That.”
Loud Luxury – 11/5
Loud Luxury was formed by two University friends, Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace, in Toronto. Their unofficial remix of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” rose to number one on the HypeM charts. Most recently, Loud Luxury went on a North American tour with over 50 stops and festivals along the way.
SoDown – 11/7
SoDown, also known as Ehren River Wright, is known for his high energy shows and is ready to bring his innovative sound to the Canopy Club. His saxophone infused take on bass music has brought many fans his way, leading to a number of sold-out shows in Colorado (his home state). You won’t want to miss this unique performance!
