Girls- Lawrence
As continual readers of this site will know, last week a ton of unreleased Christopher Owens/Girls songs were put on YouTube from a concert Owen’s put on last year. Well, even more good news for all the Girls fans out there, they are prepping the release of a new single- Lawrence that is streaming now. It is a tribute to Lawrence Hayward of Felt and very emotional, like everything Girls. Owen’s knows how to write songs. For even more Girls related awesomeness, they recently performed for pitchfork.tv in a church in Brooklyn. If you want to watch that go here.

Tennis- Origins
The Tennis duo are finally off the water and back on dry land. It was evident in their first album how influential the sea was in their writing, but now that they are back to “normal” life their music has taken a different turn. Origins, the first track off of their recently announce sophomore album (out in February) shows their minor change in style. Most of what everyone liked from Tennis is still there so do not worry too much!
The Antlers- VCR (The XX Cover)
This song hit the internet early last spring as a live show recording on YouTube. Luckily for those of us who hate live songs on youtube, but love both of these bands, they recorded it in the studio for their upcoming EP. Be sure to get that when it is out later this month, for now, here is VCR-
